On November 14, A&A Education had the pleasure of accompanying Newton Grammar School in organizing a workshop titled “Studying University in English in France – Why Not?” for high school students. The event was designed to provide early orientation and strategic guidance for students who are considering pursuing higher education abroad, particularly in English-taught programs in France.

The workshop welcomed the Board of Directors of Newton Middle and High School, Ms. Pham Thi Hai Anh – Admissions Representative of major French institutions in Vietnam, and the dynamic NGSERS students from Grade 10 and Grade 11. The strong participation reflected the increasing interest of young learners and families in international pathways within the broader development of Vietnam Education.
Studying in France in English – A Growing Trend in Vietnam Education
During the session, A&A Education shared comprehensive insights into studying in France through English-taught programs, an option that is becoming increasingly popular among Vietnamese students. Participants gained valuable information about:
- The structure of the French higher education system
- Bachelor’s programs taught entirely in English
- Admission requirements and academic expectations
- Tuition fees and scholarship opportunities
- Student visa procedures and living costs
- Internship opportunities and global career prospects
Many students were surprised to discover that France offers a wide range of internationally accredited programs in Business, Management, Economics, Data Science, Hospitality, and Creative Industries that do not require prior French proficiency.
Providing this clarity is an important contribution to the modernization of Vietnam Education, where students are encouraged to explore diverse global pathways beyond traditional destinations.
Early Preparation – The Key to Success
For Grade 10 and Grade 11 students, early exposure to international education options is essential. A&A Education emphasized the importance of:
- Building a strong academic record
- Developing leadership and extracurricular involvement
- Strengthening English proficiency
- Participating in competitions and community projects
- Planning a clear academic and career orientation
In today’s competitive environment, Vietnam Education increasingly values not only academic excellence but also global mindset, adaptability, and real-world readiness.
Strengthening the Bridge Between Vietnam and France
The workshop created an open and engaging environment where students confidently asked questions about choosing suitable majors, scholarship competitiveness, and adapting to life in Europe. Their curiosity and proactive spirit clearly demonstrate the positive transformation of Vietnam Education toward international integration.
A&A Education sincerely appreciates the warm collaboration with Newton Grammar School and looks forward to organizing more impactful academic exchange activities in the future.
